Short Bio: Rajesh Kumar obtained his Ph.D. in Physics (Nanotechnology) from H.P.University, Shimla (India) in 2010. August 2007 to September 2008, he has worked as a researcher with Professor Kwang Soo Kim, Director of Center for Superfunctional Materials (CSM) at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), South Korea. Currently, Rajesh Kumar is an Associate Professor at the Department of Physics in Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) and visiting Professor in our lab. His current research topics are Super Resolution Optical Microscopy, Nanostructures analysis using High Resolution Microscopies, Transition metal Nanostructures on Si substrates, Thin film formation of Magnetic Nanoparticles for Spintronic Device Application.theorems.

Short Bio: J. Oliver received the Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, India, in 2011, the M.E. and B.E. degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering from India, in 2002 and 2005, respectively. His research interests include Statistical Signal Processing, Optical Imaging, Array Signal Processing and Compressed Sensing for Optical systems. He joined as a post-doc in INFONET Laboratory, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), in February 2011. He is currently focusing on the applications of compressing sensing in optical imaging systems and involved in deriving new under-sampling theorems.

Short Bio

Sang-Seon Byun received the BS and MS degrees in computer science from Korea University, Seoul, Korea, in 1996 and 2002, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in computer science at Korea University, Seoul, Korea, in 2007. He was an assistant research professor of Graduate School of Embedded Software at Korea University in 2007. From 2007 to 2011, he has served as a postdoc and research scientist of Department Electronics and Telecommunications at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway. Currently, he is a research professor of School of Information and Communication in Gwangju Institute Science and Technology (GIST), Gwangju, Korea. His current research interests are in the fields of Cognitive Radio Networks and Software-Defined Radio Architecture.

Short Bio: Asad Mahmood did his B.E in Electrical Engineering from GIK Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, Topi, Pakistan in 2002. He was selected amongst a group of students to go for his DEA (Masters in Research) Degree in ‘Electronic Systems and Infornation Processing’ from University of Paris Sud, Orsay, France from 2003-2004. He was offered Ph.D. scholarship from ENSTA ( Ecole Nationale Superieure des Techniques Avancees ) to do research on efficient algorithms for resource allocation problems in multicarrier systems. He completed his Ph.D. in July 2008 jointly from ENSTA / ENST (Telecom Paristech). He then joined CASE ( Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering ), Islamabad, Pakistan as an Assistant Professor in November 2008 where he remained till July 2011 and was involved in teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in the ECE Dept. and doing research in the fields of Synchronization Algorithms for OFDM systems, LDPC/Turbo Channel Codes and Spectrum Sensing and Sharing algorithms for Cognitive Radios. He has joined GIST from September 2011 and worked in exploring the coding theoretic aspects in Compressed Sensing.
